Peeler Oilfield Services Inc. began in the oil and gas industry in 1990. Les Peeler is the President of Peeler Oilfield Services, Inc. While serving in this position, he has gained knowledge in both field and administrative areas of the industry.
Beginning with a pumping service, Les has built his reputation and knowledge from the basics to the complex. His experience includes but isn’t limited to the operations of flowing wells, plunger lift systems, rod lift systems, and compressor systems. His hands-on approach has allowed him to be able to perform and supervise any and all aspects of roustabout work and to understand the inner workings of production equipment.
Les has a desire to constantly improve and expand his knowledge, which led to a vast rig consultant experience. He has operated rigs across the state of Oklahoma, in South Texas in the Eagleford Shale area, in the Permian Basin, as well as in Wyoming covering the Powder River Basin. While performing rig work, he has had great success in improving production using ESP pumps, Jet pumps, Gas lift valves, Rod Pumps, supervising wireline units, working with packers, foam drilling, hydrostatic and x-ray testing of tubing, shooting fluid levels, and utilizing pump off control systems.
When production improvements are no longer an option, Les is also proficient in plugging wells. He is an organized consultant who maintains great relationships with Corporation Commissioners, and enjoys working with rig crews across many states.
Computer skills are another of his strong assets and he utilizes those by being savvy in many field monitoring systems including but not limited to Production Explorer and Field Direct. He has held the position of Production Superintendant, which included supervision of pumpers and producing wells across Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas. Les can also create well bore diagrams and write AFE’s.
He has a strong, steady base at home with his wife of thirty-three years, Benita and two children who have finishing college and are beginning their own careers in marketing and oilfield engineering. Both children have worked in the Peeler Oilfield Service office and field operations.
Les’s experience in the field gives him a great perspective in the office operations. He has more than book knowledge. He has practical, applicable experience, which he draws on to make efficient decisions. He has always been able to communicate effectively with everyone from a rig crew member, to office personnel, to Corporate Presidents and beyond with a gracious respect to all.
